Beach Screenings

One of Canada’s most unique film experiences!

The Gimli Film Festival unique 11 metre outdoor screen on the shores of Lake Winnipeg is a main attraction, screening a feature film each night.

  • All shows begin after sunset (10:00 pm) come early and get your seat in the sand.
  • Please note, films that are rated 14A, require children under 14 to be accompanied by an adult. Warnings will be posted at the Projection Station near the boardwalk.
  • A pre-marked area at the front is limited to seating without chairs. Please keep chairs low as a courtesy to others.
  • See the full screening schedule in the program guide.
  • The concession stand will be open all evening. Please keep our beach clean by using the garbage and recycling bins.
