One of Canada’s most unique film experiences!
Enjoy feature length documentaries, dramas and short films on the shores of Lake Winnipeg at the one-of-a-kind Rogers Cinema Under the Stars. Our 11 meter beach screen is a main attraction at the Gimli Film Festival and has become a cherished tradition amongst festival attendees. Different films will be screened nightly – absolutely free.
- All shows begin after sunset (approximately 10:00 pm).
- Please note, films that are rated 14A, require children under 14 to be accompanied by an adult. Warnings will be posted at the Projection Station near the boardwalk.
- A pre-marked area at the front is limited to seating without chairs. Please keep chairs low as a courtesy to others.

- You are welcome to bring snacks and refreshments with you, however, we ask you please keep our beach clean by using the garbage and recycling bins.
