Best in Show

Dir. Christopher Guest

14A | 2000 | United States | 90 minutes

25 years after its premiere, master mockumentarian Christopher Guest's hilarious satire of the highly competitive world of dog shows has lost none of its teeth. A wondrously colorful mix of dog owners descend on the MayFlower Dog Show with one goal: taking home the Championship. Their pups may be on display but it's really their owners that take centre stage in all of their wacky, neurotic zaniness. With an all-star cast of Guest regulars, including Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara, Fred Willard, Parker Posey, Michael McKean, and Jennifer Coolidge as well as Guest himself, Best In Show endures as one of the finest comedies of the new millennium.
