Your roundtrip service provider.

Festival attendees can catch a ride to the festival with our roundtrip shuttle service, every day of the festival! For only $25, arrive in time to take in all the events of the day and stay to watch the RBC Sunset Beach Screening in the evening.

Pick up/drop off locations are:

  • University of Winnipeg (Drop-off Loop in front of Lockhart Hall - Facing Ellice Ave)

  • McPhillips Superstore (parking lot at 2132 McPhillips Ave, southeast corner)

  • ⚠️ Winnipeg Beach ⚠️ *NEW STOP* (Location TBD)

  • Gimli Parking Lot (in-front of Gimli Theatre & Unitarian Church)

Taking the shuttle not only makes your trip to Gimli simpler, but it also helps reduce the amount of vehicle traffic in Gimli and offers a more environmentally friendly commute.

July 22 - July 26, 2026:

  • 10:00AM - Departure from University of Winnipeg

  • 10:30AM - Departure from Superstore

  • ⚠️ 11:15AM - Departure from Winnipeg Beach ⚠️ *NEW STOP*

  • 11:30AM - Arrival in Gimli

  • 12:30AM - Departure from Gimli

  • ⚠️ 12:45 AM - Arrival at Winnipeg Beach ⚠️ *NEW STOP*

  • 1:30AM - Arrival at Superstore

  • 2:00AM - Arrival at University of Winnipeg

Note: On July 24-25, there will be two shuttle buses in service. Times vary. Please check official schedule online as these buses leave all destinations earlier.

FAQs

  • The Shuttle Bus is FREE for all Super Pass holders and Volunteers.


    The shuttle is $25.00 for roundtrip service.

  • The shuttle service is subject to availability. We encourage all patrons to book your spot in advance!

  • The shuttle will leave at the scheduled time and will not be waiting for late attendees. Therefore, please arrive to the shuttle location 15 minutes prior to the departure time.

    GIFF and Beaver Bus Lines are not responsible for any missed buses.

  • GIFF is not responsible for items left on the bus. A lost and found will be located inside the Box Office.

  • The consumption of alcohol and/or drugs is not permitted on the shuttle. We want to keep the safe and fun festival spirit alive during our commute!

  • We ask that if you are unable to make the shuttle, to provide 24 hour notice as space is limited.

    A penality of the full round-trip price ($25.00 CAD) will be charged for any no shows.

Driving

If you’re making your own way to Gimli, Manitoba Highway 8 runs directly from Winnipeg.

Parking in town is limited so please obey street parking restrictions and if you’re staying overnight, ensure your accommodations have a spot reserved.
